This itinerary is through the most north-westerly part of Alta Ribagorça county, on the border between Catalonia and Arago.
The routes in the Barravés and Besiberri Valleys run through the most north-westerly part of Alta Ribagorça county, on the border between Catalonia and Aragon, between mountains and woods of great beauty crossed by the Noguera Ribagorçana.
There are many excursions that can be taken from the Barravés Valley. We would particularly recommend the ascent to the Besiberri Lakes, to the north. There you can relax at the lakeside or climb well-known peaks, including Besiberri North and South (3,015m) or the highest peak in the whole.
