Hot-air balloon rides in Cerdagne

Once preparations are ready, the flight can start. “Where are we going to land?”, you may wonder. Just enjoy the pleasure to ignore it! As the basket has no tiller, the pilot constantly decides about the height to reach in order to get the air currents that will move the balloon here and there. Every day is a new experience and every flight is different. The usual heights you reach are about 2,500-3,000 metres above sea level, which means 1,500 metres above Cerdagne’s ground.

The wonderful landscape of the valley appears under your feet in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. After an hour flying, the pilot will start to look for a place to land. The complete flight usually lasts between one and one and a half hour. Guaranteed adventure!
