Half day on the sites of the Battle of the Ebro.
This 4-hour route will take you through three of the main historical sites of the memory of the Battle of the Ebro: the remains of Corbera d’Ebre Old Village, the Devees republican trenches, and the Camposines Memorial in tribute to the lost soldiers.
The itinerary offers a complete vision of the battle in the context of the Spanish Civil War which goes deep into the causes, the evolution and the impact of this long conflict, the combatants’ daily life, the experiences of the soldiers of the different units, … with the support of photos, documents, etc. The route also shows how the Battle of the Ebro has been remembered during the following decades as well as the process of recovery of that historical memory.
