Trans Garrotxa (www.transgarrotxa.cat), known as the Volcano Route, is an impressive mountain bike proposal aimed at discovering the most unknown part of La Garrotxa region. The 2, 3 and 4-day options mean a demanding route which stands out for the many trails and paths between thick beeches and holm oaks, as well as for the large number of rivers and streams, with their pools –very common in La Garrotxa–, spread around old mills, farmhouses and numerous Romanesque chapels scattered throughout the territory. The route also includes luggage transfer, accommodation (optional Luxe and Eco, according to the proposal), dinners and breakfasts (optional lunch), tracks and maps of the route, and a technical t-shirt (gift).
The Trans Garrotxa Route will not disappoint you. It is both demanding and wildly spectacular.
