"Wines in the trenches" starts in Corbera d’Ebre Old Village, declared as Protected Historical Site by Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan government) in 1992. Its stunning landscape and its streets fallen into ruins have become a must for the people who want to know more about the Battle of the Ebro.

While you walk through the place, you will hear the explanations about the battle and its impact on the municipality, and then, at 402 metres above sea level, you will taste the award-winning organic wines from Celler Frisach (PDO Terra Alta).
