Opened in 2002, MónNatura Pirineus is a nature centre of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera that offers stays and activities for all in order to bring the visitors closer to nature and to let them discover the essence of the Pyrenees.
Located in the wonderful setting of Àneu Valleys, in the Pallars Sobirà region, MónNatura Pirineus is a centre that is equipped with unique facilities in the Pyrenees which allow the visitors to experience life in the high mountains and to discover its attractions highlighting the importance of sustainability as well as identifying and respecting the different components of the landscape.

Above MónNatura Pirineus, the sky has spectacular characteristics that allow you to enjoy a session on astronomy without any light and atmospheric pollution. This activity is a real show of stars that starts indoors and ends up outdoors with a visit of the astronomic observatory once it is dark. Recommended age: from age 8 upwards. Duration: 45 minutes for the indoor session 1 hour for the outdoor session (approx.)
