Created in 2011, Guies de Muntanya i Barrancs Ama Dablam (mountaineering and canyoning guides) is a company that is devoted to adventure and outdoor sports. As members of the European Charter of Sustainable Tourism (ECST), we defend the values of sustainable and responsible tourism, respect of the environment and networking with the other local companies.
We offer outdoor activities such as canyoning, vias ferratas, orienteering competitions, treks, crossings, showshoeing, mountain safety courses, ... Although most of these proposals are carried out in the area of the Catalan Pyrenees, we are also active in the French and Huesca Pyrenees. We work with 2-people groups or more (friends, families, companies, schools, …) and adapt to their preferences, levels and ages, offering the maximum safety and passion for adventure.

Canyoning consists of descending a river equipped with a wetsuit, a harness and a helmet, and of overcoming the jumps (optional), slides and abseiling spots you find on the way. A perfect adventure to enjoy nature and spend a refreshing day! Located in Vall d'en Bas (La Garrotxa), under Salt de Sallent (a 140-metre waterfall), the Gurn is a lovely canyon with emerald green waters that is ideal for families and beginners in which you will learn about abseiling techniques and get the opportunity to enjoy a series of jumps, slides and siphons. A perfect option for a first contact with the canyoning world.

A via ferrata (iron path) is a wall equipped with iron rungs and a steel wire that helps you progressing attached. It is a simple way to climb a mountain. You can find vias ferratas for all levels, ages and tastes. This 3-hour activity is ideal for families with 7-year-old children or older, friends, couples, teenagers, colleagues, … A unique form of enjoying nature. Just go for the experience! Although you can do it all year round, it is recommended to be done from autumn to spring. Located in Ribes Valley, in the Eastern Pyrenees, Roca de la Creu Via Ferrata is a real good place for beginners. This iron path is really lovely, well-equipped and intuitive, with no difficult part at all, that will make you go through a Nepali and Tibetan bridge. Ideal for beginners and families. You will enjoy wonderful views of the Pyrenees all the way through.

Thanks to their floatability, snowshoes allow you to enjoy a hike through snowed mountains without sinking. The best way to discover the Pyrenees in winter is on the snow! Our routes are aimed at different levels, from beginners to experts, and go all through wonderful natural spots.
