Ramat de Camins is a hiking route that is more than 300 kilometres long and dates back to 12th August 1956, when writers Camilo José Cela and Josep Maria Espinàs arrived to La Pobla de Segur by coal train to go for a hike through the regions of Pallars Jussà, Pallars Sobirà, Val d’Aran and Alta Ribagorça.
Ramat de Camins is a version that has been adapted to hiking: its ancient village paths cross 70 Pyrenean villages, from La Pobla de Segur to El Pont de Suert, by way of emblematic sites such as Collegats Canyon, Àssua Valley, Ferrera Valley, Cardós valleys, Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, Alt Pirineu Natural Park, Bonaigua Pass, Vielha Pass, Gelada Pass, Boí Valley, ...

First long stage of Ramat de Camins. Departing from La Pobla de Segur, the so called “Gateway to the Pyrenees”, you will discover Collegats Canyon, a great part of Pallars Sobirà region and Alt Pirineu Natural Park.

Second long stage of Ramat de Camins. Departing from Àreu, in Ferrera Valley, you will cross Cardós Valley, Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, Àneu Valleys and the famous Bonaigua Pass, until Aran Valley.
