Zoo del Pirineu is a non-profit organisation that hosts and takes care of mistreated or injured wild animals. Whenever it is possible, the idea is to take the animals back to the wild, but sometimes, letting them free in nature would mean death. In this case, we give them a new home in our shelter for wild animals. According to their predisposition, we let them participate in the activities aimed at the public or let them breed in captivity, in which case their young are released. This support can be given thanks to the visitors, as we don’t receive any economic help from the government. The entrance fees are the only income that allow us to go on with our tasks. The Owl experience

The Owl experience is a family activity recommended for animal lovers (over 6 years old). One and a half hour of emotions with owls in a small group of participants. You will have the opportunity to hold and feed the owls as well as to let them fly and take pictures with them. Bringing nature closer to the people is one of the main goals of Zoo del Pirineu. Animal show
