Castellfollit, emerged from deep inside the earth

Walk on the right slope of the lower part of Castellfollit valley, in the Poblet Natural Reserve, a listed Geozone (area of geological interest) due to its granitic relief. The latter is the result of the effects atmospheric agents have had throughout its geological history and allows us to discover a series of elements: the different morphologies of granitic rocks, the quarries that were active during the first 70 years of the 20th century, coal cellars, small workers’ houses and other parts of the natural and social heritage that we will find on our way and that change as seasons go by.
