This walk will allow you to discover the flora of the nearest landscapes from an ethnobotanic point of view. Plants can be toys for kids, they feed us, heat us and help us build all kinds of things. They are a source of inspiration for poets and inventors imitate their natural genius. The workshops on wild food cooking will allow you to discover the world of edible spontaneous plants, show you the possibilities they can give in the kitchen and make you aware of your immediate vegetal reality. This is a practical workshop whose participants will learn how to use the best edible plants of the local landscape. The activity starts with a short introduction about how to identify and collect the plants, followed by their culinary applications and the making of 3-4 dishes, and finishes with the tasting of the dishes made during the workshop. Els Corremarges produces its preserves in the shared workshop of Cooperativa Tres Cadires, in Arbeca, and belongs to the Association of garlic producers of Belltall, to the Association of producers of Vall del Corb and to the Network of small producers Mosaic de Secà. We invite you to experience and taste this networking in the heart of nature through a commented tasting and pairing session with local products. This walk aimed at picking wild edible species is followed by a wild food cooking workshop and its corresponding tasting session. After a walk through the surroundings of the lovely village of Jorba, which host endless wild edible plants and traditional farm varieties, you will learn about how to identify them, pick them properly and use them. Then, with the species and varieties you have gathered as well as with other local and seasonal products, you will cook several amazing and delicious dishes. Assessed by the expert who will be with you all the time, you will choose the recipes you want to follow. After that, you will taste everything you have prepared and check the results and pairings. This half-day hike crosses the winding road of the Ports departing from Roquetes and includes the following: explanations on the geology of the mountain range –a real Jurassic Park that majestically overlooks the plain–; ascent to Mount Caro, with spectacular views of Ebro Delta, across forest tracks until La Mola de Catí; visit of Cova Cambra, with tasting of local products in the heart of nature; short and large sections of paths that cross lonely woodlands; fauna, flora and mushroom watching; and unique sceneries for photography and nature lovers. In spring, asphodels, peonies and orchids paint the mature forests of La Mola with wonderful colours. And in autumn, maples and mushrooms are the ones that give colour to the landscape.   See more

This activity consists of watching the night sky with the naked eye, first, and then with laser. With the help of a catadioptric telescope, we will then identify some details of the solar system and of the deep sky. Walk through the history of olive trees and olive oil. The experience starts with the visit of the Natural Museum of Millenary Olive Trees of Arión –where you will have the opportunity to admire the oldest and largest ensemble of millenary olive trees in Spain and, probably, in the world–, and goes on with the visit of the Molí de la Creu, a family mill dated 1884 that shows how the technique used to obtain olive oil has evolved. The whole activity obviously ends up with a tasting session of our home-made oil. See more

Muria Centre d'Interpretació Apícola plunges you into the world of bees through several spaces where the latest technologies will teach you about apiculture in an interactive and didactic way and show you the whole production process, from the bee to the jar of honey. About twenty years ago, the Marist community of Avellanes Monastery decided to open their doors to visitors to in order to disseminate the historical and cultural values of the monastery. This ancient abbey built in the 12th century by Urgell counts still preserves part of its monumental ensemble, which is now listed National Heritage of Cultural Interest. The guided tour allows the visitors to find out about the history and the artistic value of the monastery and of its immediate surroundings. The place also hosts “El Claustre”, a restaurant that promotes traditional cuisine with local products. See more

This route will take you to Can Kensho, where you will enjoy a guided tour through Kensho Sake workshop, the first Mediterranean sake made of Ebro Delta Rice. Taste that sake together with oysters farmed in Fangar Bay and some traditional tapas with local wine.
